Who is Perry Chen?

Perry Chen is an American Internet entrepreneur best known for co-founding the social fundraising website Kickstarter.

Numerous magazines have honored him in recognition of his role as co-founder and CEO of Kickstarter. He was listed by Fast Company as 74th in the ranking of "the most creative people in business" in 2010. Along with fellow co-founders, he was named as one of the "The 12 Most Disruptive Names In Business" by Forbes. In the same year, he was honored on the annual list of Time's 100 most influential people. Chen was one of two Chinese-Americans named to the Time 100 that year, the other honoree was Kai-Fu Lee, another startup founder.
